The Aspire Academy Trust is committed to supporting positive mental health and the Aspire Mental Health Policy is available below.
The ‘Leading a Mentally Healthy School’ training programme has been developed by Health Education England (HEE) and the School Development Support Agency (SDSA), in partnership with an expert group of educational psychologists, education consultants and mental health organisations and responds to the areas highlighted in the recent Green Paper – ‘Transforming Children & Young People’s Mental Health Provision’ (December 2017).
Lyn can provide a link between the school and home and help parents confidently engage in their child’s learning. Where problems with school attendance or transition to secondary school is a concern for either parent or child Lyn can provide targeted support.
Lyn does this by working direct with parents, in the home if convenient, with the child within school, and she can signpost to other service providers where a need is identified. Lyn is qualified to run parenting classes for some age groups.
So please feel free to contact Lynn direct on 07929 365227 or email lbell@theroseland.co.uk.
Or you can ask the school’s secretary or your child’s teacher for a leaflet. Advice is free and confidential, she looks forward to hearing from you.
